Global Resource Options (GRO) and GridPoint Sign Agreement to Distribute GridPoint's Intelligent Energy Management Products to GRO's Nationwide Network of Representatives

GRO, a Top 10 U.S. Photovoltaic Distributor, Recently Trained 30 Representatives on Selling, Installing and Interfacing with GridPoint's Products

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VERMONT, and WASHINGTON - June 15, 2006 - Global Resource Options (GRO), the locally based national leader in sales of residential solar energy systems, and GridPoint, Inc.™, a provider of intelligent energy management (IEM) products, today announced a joint agreement to distribute GridPoint products through GRO's nationwide network of installers, engineers and sales representatives. GridPoint's award-winning products provide clean, reliable backup power, integrate renewable energy, and automatically manage energy efficiency for the home or business.

GRO recently hosted a training event for approximately 30 installers, engineers, sales and dealer representatives on selling, installing and interfacing with GridPoint's products. After a morning classroom session, attendees experienced hands-on training as they installed a GridPoint Connect™ for the Global Resource Options headquarters. The product will provide clean backup power and monitoring of GRO's existing photovoltaic system, allowing the Vermont office staff to enjoy uninterrupted clean power, even during utility outages, as well as measure the amount of solar energy produced, store solar energy for future use and sell excess power back to the electric grid.
