The discounted present value of these savings would be $35 billion over the next 20 years.
  • Demand response participants would save about $9 million to $26 million for energy annually and another $73 million for capacity charges. Energy prices would be reduced by at least $57 million to $182 million annually in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region.
